Sarah Poland.

Sarah Poland worked at Clifford Chance where she set up and managed ILP an international legal charity. She trained as a Civil and Commercial mediator with CEDR and then qualified as a Family Mediator specialist with the ADR Group. She is a skilled communicator and has worked closely with the top city law firms and international legal organisations. Sarah was a member of the Attorney General's International Pro Bono Committee for three years.

Gavin Argent.

Gavin Argent has practiced common law at the Bar for over 30 years, and qualified as a civil mediator in 1996. He has undertaken mediations in most areas of law, and latterly trained as a family mediator. His specialisms are in family, probate, negligence and boundary disputes, but believes that any problem can be mediated, as long as the solution is sound in law.

Michael has been involved with mediation since about 1995 and has been a fully acreditted commercial mediator since 1999. Since then he has qualified as a family mediator and has a particular interest in the so-called hybrid model for family mediation. He brings a quiet calm to the mediation process together with a steely determination to achieve the best possible outcome for the parties. With over 30 years' experience of litigation and arbitration, he well knows the savings in time, money and emotional energy that can result from a successful mediation of almost any type of dispute.

Lovell Chohan.

Lovell is senior partner at a respected West London law firm. A qualified solicitor since 1993, Lovell previously worked as a police officer where he developed important analytical and people skills.

Lovell is a qualified mediator in the areas of employment, civil and commercial work and family.

Lovell is an extremely talented lawyer and effective communicator who believes in going straight to the point instead of becoming entrenched in unnecessary detail. Years of experience in sorting out legal matters serve Lovell well in the area of mediation.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and specialised in Family Law with Withers from 1988.

She qualified as a Mediator with the FMA in 1996 and was a founder member of the Solicitors Family Law Association, now known as Resolution. During her many years with Withers, Sarah dealt with numerous Divorce and Separation matters including many 'high net worth' cases, often with a multi-jurisdictional aspect. She has a wealth of experience in all areas of Separation and Divorce from issues relating to the children to sorting out the Financial Provision between the parties. At all times she kept her clients focused on the benefits of reaching an agreement balanced against emotionally draining, lengthy and often costly litigation. She is also CEDR trained in Commercial and Civil Mediations.

Sarah was a Chair of a School Governing body for many years and Chair's School Admission Appeal Panels and School Exclusion Panels. As a Magistrate she regularly sits both in the Adult Court and regularly in the Family Court. She is very familiar with all aspects of Mediation balanced against the Court and Tribunal alternatives.
